2012 RELI 489

RELI 489 is a two-trimester course. It offers a guided introduction to scholarly research in religious studies. Each student will work closely with a staff mentor within an area of the staff mentor’s expertise. Students will produce a research essay of about 10,000 words, due at the end of the second trimester. Students will acquire skills for formulating manageable research questions, for conducting evidence-based research, and for expressing their results in clear and persuasive writing. These skills provide an essential foundation for conducting original postgraduate research in religious studies and related fields.
